I do not view myself as broken or damaged in any way, and I do not regret the life I’ve lived so far and I do not look back and say that my past was troubled either. Sorry, I do not stick labels on myself in any way as I believe that only holds me back from focusing on my life now and fully living in the present as I embrace this life I’ve been given. I view myself as someone who has been through trials in life, who has seen some tough times, who has had to deal with things but who has survived, fought back and gained victory in my life. I view the life I’ve lived as lessons learned along the way and I see every life experience I’ve been through as an opportunity to grow, and every hard time, every storm, every trial made me stronger, preparing me for where I am today. Who I was yesterday is not who I am today so why would I look at myself and say I’m broken or damaged? When you look in the mirror, you should see someone beautiful, courageous, determined, who’s risen above those hard times, a warrior, a fighter, someone who has a purpose in life, who’s broken free from the life they led, and who now has a better life waiting for them. So embrace this life you’ve been given because it’s the most precious gift we could ever receive and what we do with it is our choice.
